    Hi,

I was wondering if you could include our site in your index. We pretty much fit the description of
the "ideal" oddio overplay website as posted on your site:

+ Our tracks are offered by artist/ label
+ No pop-up ads, no sign up, no catch, nonothing
    + Abuot 100+ tracks available
+ Tracks have direct links, are not hidden in applets or embeds
+ Not a mainstream radio release (I wish! Maybe I'd make some money this way...)
+ No membership required to access anything
+ Tracks are mp3 formatand are full length

We do this to promote out Artist. We're a small group of people trying to get exposure
in the music & film industry.

Would be great if you could have a listen - and include us if you like it :)

    Thanks a lot...

  9. Hello,
My name is Todd and I'm with the Minneapolis-based electropunk band Avenpitch -
http://www.avenpitch.com - Awhile ago Oddio Overplay "discovered" Avenpitch and kept plugging our
song "Butterfly Radio". Just writing because we have a new album out and we would greatly
appreciate any attention you could throw at us pimpin' a new MP3 or two --- please listen to these tracks
and - if you like what you hear - consider plugging them on Oddio Overplay:

    Jack the Idiot Dance -

  12. ARMALITE "Armalite" LP/CD ($7.00/$7.00)
    (No Idea Records #183)

    The new band featuring:
Atom Goren (ATOM & HIS PACKAGE)
Mike McKee (KILL THE MAN WHO QUESTIONS)
Dan Yemin (PAINT IT BLACK, LIFETIME, KID DYNAMITE)
Jeff Ziga (TRUE IF DESTROYED, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION JACKSON)

Hi. My name is Atom, and I play in a band called Armalite. We’ve been practicing together for about three years now, and played at least as many shows (at most, eight). Armalite is composed of four busy-ish, older-ish folks. Most of us play in other, full-on bands, and all of us have stuff that makes it near impossible for Armalite to play outside of the Philadelphia metropolitan area on a regular, or even occasional basis. So far, this is quite a sales pitch, no? Dan Yemin currently screams, writes songs, and plays guitar occasionally for Paint It Black, and has been in a bunch of bands that people liked, and continue to like, such as Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, and even briefly played guitar for the pile of shit Ressurection. Mike McKee currently also plays guitar, and sings in Amateur Party (which has a way better name than Armalite... come to think of it, few bands don’t.... maybe the punksters Total Society don’t), screamed for Philly hardcore doods and doodette Kill the Man Who Questions, and is the editor of a decidedly non pile-of-shit magazine from Philadelphia called Rockpile. Jeff Ziga currently plays drums for True If Destroyed, Affirmative Action Jackson, and a rock n’ roll band camp during the summer. Me? I’m a dad of a twenty month old, who is nicknamed ‘The Potato’, and I teach high school physics and chemistry. I used to do a one person band-ish thing called Atom and His Package, but missed playing loud guitar with humans.

We’re four friends who play music together in Armalite purely because it’s fun. We like writing songs, and playing them together in Mike’s basement. We recorded a bunch of them and godamnit, we WILL play some shows. What does it sound like? Hmmm... Mike likes Ignition a LOT, and I am a sucker for pop... Dan & Jeff know the difference between coming in on the ‘1’ and the ‘and’, and Mike and I fake it. Hope you like it. Thanks.

Atom Goren: singer, guitar-er • Mike McKee: singer, guitar-er • Dan Yemin: bass-er • Jeff Ziga: drummer, backup singer

  13. DEFIANCE, OHIO "The Great Depression" LP/CD ($6.00/$6.00)
    No Idea #189

D,OH play fun, politically conscious, stripped-down punk with acoustic guitars, violin, cello, banjo, upright bass... well, you get the picture! They have cruised very DIY throughout their existence, self-releasing their first CD, and touring the USA many times (and Europe as well). They have also worked with a lot of friends' labels with split releases, including a split CD with GHOST MICE on Plan-It-X and a split 7" with ONE REASON on Anti-Creative. We are really excited about this record!! (On tour until 5/5!)

Wow, I just found this site again after exactly a year. It's our anniversary. So, is anyone blogging anymore?
I have a new radio show at www.wtnrradio.com every Saturday from 6am-6pm world time. I hope it's ok that I plugged that.
    Cheers,
