But wait! There's more!

Lord Kelvin - The Frog Blues Experience
"This 'song' is a frankensteinian hybridic mixture of two previously uploaded open source audio recordings: the colorado river (frogs!) field recordings and Clarence Ashley's, 'My Sweet Farm Girl.' I finagled it around a bit to get it to sound interesting to say the least. I got it so the frogs seem to be singing along at times."

Clarence Ashley - My Sweet Farm Girl
"Recorded on December 1, 1931 in New York City. Ashley plays guitar and sings, with Gwen Foster on guitar and harmonica. The sexual connotations are rather obvious."

AK-Momo - Women to Control
"On the debut from this Swedish duo, the voice of Anna Karin von Malmborg floats coolly above a bed of music created using mellotrons and an Optigan. Think Joanna Newsom fronting Goldfrapp..."

Ready for something that might get radio play?

Nic Armstrong and the Thieves - If We Can't Escape, My Pretty
"Nic Armstrong and the Thieves embody the undying spirit of rock 'n' roll - fuzzed out guitars, raggedy drum kits, and spirited vocals are the rule of the day. Their new album 'The Greatest White Liar' blends rockers with tuneful ballads and jaunty dancehall numbers. "If We Can't Escape My Pretty" is a non-album track often performed in live sets. It represents the fresh energy of a band that's ready to take America by storm."

  2. These are mostly old favorites, but there are some "newer" (aka late 2005) finds there at the end. Trying to make up for lost time, which is quite difficult considering my current technology. If I don't purchase a new machine, then there will be precious few posts from me.

Here's hoping you are not alone in enjoying that long set.

This was very similar to an Oddio Group post in February 2005. Same crazy cast of characters with some new stuff added to the mix.

OMG that "Goodnight Goodnight" song is an earworm. Now everyone in the office is singing it too! Thanks!
